The black car fleet
The Toyota Camry is the everyday black sedan: quiet, comfortable and the right size for one or two passengers heading to a meeting, a dinner or the airport with carry on bags. The Tesla Model Y is the electric option, with the same black finish and room for a couple of suitcases.
For groups and luggage there are two SUVs. The Toyota Highlander adds a third row and more cargo space, and the Chevrolet Suburban is the full-size choice: three rows, the most luggage room in the fleet and the vehicle most people picture when they think of a New York black car. Tell us how many people and bags are traveling and we assign the vehicle that fits.
By the trip, by the hour or as directed
A point to point ride is the simplest booking: the chauffeur picks you up, takes you where you are going and the trip ends there. It works well for a single meeting, a dinner reservation or an airport run.
When the day has several stops, keeping the car by the hour is usually easier than booking ride after ride. The chauffeur waits while you are inside, moves the car when the street does not allow standing, and is ready when you come out. As directed means the same thing with an open schedule: you decide the next stop as the day goes, whether that is a round of client visits, a day of errands across boroughs or a trip that ends at the airport.
Airport transfers in a black car
Black Car covers JFK, LaGuardia and Newark in both directions. For departures, book as soon as you know your flight time and give yourself more cushion than the map suggests, because the same run can take twice as long at rush hour. For arrivals, request the ride home as soon as you land.
If you are traveling with a family or several large suitcases, ask for the Suburban or the Highlander when you book. A sedan fits two people with carry on bags comfortably, but four travelers with checked luggage need the room of an SUV.
